When I came back from my holiday in Turkey all I wanted to do was to sit and draw in garden centres around London. I liked the quiet and boring version of paradise that they offer.

Dean Reed

I made this in honour of Dean Reed, the "Red Elvis". He was an American rock 'n' roll singer who defected to the east during the Cold War.


Then I went a demonstrated with my banner in front of the former East German embassy on Belgrave Square.
